If it's a 900 degree wheel, I feel your pain. I've been playing a lot of F1 2018, they get around gamepad cheatiness by limiting the speed at which the wheels can physically turn regardless of how fast you flick the stick. This works well once you get used to it, except everyone is conditioned to racing game cars turning 1:1 based on stick input so you've got about 99% of the player base ramming into the first turn barrier because of it.
I stopped playing with wheels ever since I realized it takes me longer to get the setup going than it does actually playing the game. I refuse to do anything if it requires me to physically move furniture around.
