Subject:
Banksy for president
Well, there's the problem that
Banksy
is almost certainly a Brit, but otherwise I think he would be a good contender.
When you think about it, President Trump is rather Banksyish. His reasoning is mysterious. He likes to cause stirs. It's difficult to tell when he's serious. And some people think he's vandalizing the presidency.
I think these people are misinformed. President Trump is a deep, constructive thinker whose ways cannot be known by the average person. What appears to be crazy and destructive may be part of a great beneficial scheme of well-being and prosperity -- just like Banksy's art may be a great thematic mélange of undiscovered thematic intent.
I'm not saying that Banksy could or would be president. I'm just saying that President Trump has laid the foundation for a new understanding of executive policy, and I think Banksy would immediately grasp this approach.
Just as Banksy's "Girl with Balloon" self-destructed, so we may find that President Trump's unique management style will leave what appear to be tatters of a once-coherent sovereign trust. But if we adopt the view that Banksy is using his power for good, could this not also be said of President Trump? And if this is true, could we be on the threshold of a new paradigm in leadership?
Food for thought.
