Remember when old school art used to be about a painter creating a masterworks that often took them over 5 years to complete?

Now it's basically about people with money who couldn't care less about the art or message and just want to claim, "See that on my wall? That's an original So-And-So." Of course, I don't really care one way or the other. I just find it interesting to see how the art scene has evolved along with the wage gap.
