The only thing I'm remotely excited about is Mount & Blade: Bannerlord. I use the term "remotely" in a special sense, because I am less convinced with each passing day that this game will ever be finished. If it does come out, it could be the greatest achievement of all time. Or it could be a mess. We live on wisps of hope.
As for Cyberpunk 2077, I am more confident in its eventual publication but not as excited as I think I ought to be. Some nagging premonition tells me that it will be a futuristic Grand Theft Auto hobbled by excessive talking and CD Projekt's usual preoccupation with cupidity -- something like a Jetson's version of The Witcher à la the more grievous Bioware things. I don't know. Time will tell.
I hope to prepare a long screed on why Fallout 76 will be unalloyed excrement. This may accompany new screenshots of my Fallout 4 settlement revisions. I know everyone is anxious for more of these, so I will strive more vigorously to complete them.
Speaking of Cyberpunk 2077 and Fallout 4, has anyone paused to consider that 2077 is the year of the Great War in Fallout lore? Is this merely a coincidence? I think not.
