Re-do of Fort Independence
Fallout 4 builders tend to fru-fru up this place, but I see it as a last holdout, like the Alamo. Therefore, it would be a fairly primitive military installation, with a focus on defense, subsistence, and mobility.
Some people like to elevate the garden area, but I don't see the point. It's inside walls.
Because Fort Independence (otherwise known as "The Castle") is a training facility for the Minutemen, they would have a firing range. I've decided that the repaired walls would be a good place to refit a vertibird acquired in a special arrangement with the Brotherhood of Steel.
This is the other side of the repaired wall/gate.
The front entrance bears the brunt of most attacks, so it's fairly well-fortified.
Another shot of the entrance, with cannons behind the sandbags.
I could have made it nicer, but it's the Alamo. The Alamo was not a day spa.
