RE: "In coming weeks . . ."
Warframe's core gameplay loop is the same as Borderlands and most any other loot shooter: Form a group, pick a mission, blast and slash some enemies, kill boss, attain loot. If you liked that part of Borderlands you might like Warframe.
There's the obvious caveat that with it being free to play, its progression systems are tuned specifically to be a bit slower than the norm, though very far from being a candidate of the pay to win moniker. Think less Chinese grindhouse game and more Path of Exile in terms of microtransaction shenanigans, where the only exclusive items are cosmetics and more inventory slots, along with the usual "Speed my xp gains and various other waiting times up for 24 hours" bonuses. One of the neat things this game does, is that the currency you purchase with real money can also be traded with other players, so you can either use it as a currency for buying items off other players, or sell items for currency which you can then use to buy any exclusive items you may want.
After playing Destiny 2 the other day and being disappointed at how little there is to do in it, I was thinking of jumping back on the Warframe train for a while.
