Do you lump QLED into OLED? If not, I would agree with you as of last year but I've heard good improvements have been made to the 2018 models on Samsung's Q8F and Q9F sets since they've redesigned the backlighting method on those models.
Then again, it doesn't matter because I wouldn't pay $5000 for one of those. Especially not when I could wait one more year to get it on sale for $4750.
