I've been mainly trying to stick to non-biased tech review sites but the general internet public is almost laughably polarized on it. Granted, I'm not a huge videophile but I do appreciate a sexy piece of technology... and from what I can tell the only difference is that QLED might be slightly grayer on the true blacks but that's about it.
I wouldn't dock Samsung that many points in picture quality because they are making insane improvements year after year. I would, however, steer clear of them given the fact they have built in advertisements into their menu screens... so you're basically paying thousands of dollars to see ads that can't be disabled.
