just incase you are really stupid and do not comprehend yet,
the initial root, the tap root, which springs from the seed, is not a warping effect in itself, but is the thing which initializes the greater effect
the tap root itself is from like a fleshy stock,
its actually a clever mechanism. ill cover more on who created it when i feel like scaring the shit out of you more. im still working on doing this better.
but the mechanism which feeds water and creates the taproot is quite clever. its something like a membrane, when the water soaks there is like a bank for it, which is capped, the water removes the cap which causes the cap to change, or absorb, and also primes the feeding mechanism for the stock and water, like clockwork. these mechanisms are specifically crafted to do this, its not a product of nature, though everything is derived from it. geneforge, the creature creates all these things. its really good at what it does.
