Elizabeth Taylor wore 65 costumes in Cleopatra. Renie Connely, of course, won the Oscar for best costume design and was given $194,800 exclusively for Taylor's outfits. In today's money, that would be about $1,600,000.
This proves that Cleopatra was better than Citizen Kane.
