Filezilla is a buggy pile of shit. I guess it's ok if you want to transfer the odd file or two and you need sftp, but when you try to ftp a few million files, especially if they're contained in many directories with multiple hierarchy levels, it fucks up. They may have fixed it now, but I doubt it. That's really the problem with open source software...
