Subject: RE: I watched an episode of "Jail" last night

I'm not making any more remarks about guilt or innocence with regards to Bill.

BUT I imagine that if I were accused of child molestation, and locked up in jail, after a couple of days, maybe a week, of screaming about being innocent and getting gradually more depressed and apathetic as it became clear that the system was going to chew me up and spit me out, I'd probably settle into a routine even if the routine sucked, too. You can only remain outraged for so long. Humans are built that way. This is why our political process is so ridiculous, among other things.

Bill has also posted a few dozen times that his intention is to avoid "whining" on his blog. I mean, what does Miss Manners say about the proper ways to comport yourself when accused of child rape and locked up with murderers?
