RE: finally watched buster Scruggs....
People keep complaining about the lack of connection between the stories but I'm not sure why. Most anthologies lack that connection by design, or at most they have interconnecting narratives told through a cartoon crypt keeper. I would say the obvious connecting theme was death and the variety of ways it came about in each story.
That said, I should have mentioned the story was not the enjoyable part of the film. I mainly dug the settings, cinematography, and characters themselves. I had also had 2 straight bourbons while watching it but I stand by my praise.
