Netflix is in a losing war for obtaining content that they don't create. If you're looking for existing movies that aren't OC, then you'll be hard pressed since there's now 20 other streaming services competing for content.
That said, it's probably worth owning a subscription for 6 months or so until you've burnt through all of the shows that are actually worth watching. The problem is over-saturation which makes it difficult to find something worthwhile. For every 1 decent show or movie they put out, there's 20 terrible ones. That being said, watch the following:
Black Mirror (not the latest Bandersnatch one though, that's awful)
Ozark
Glow
Bloodline season 1 (the rest suck but it's fine as a self contained first season)
Alias Grace
Altered Carbon (debatable... this one divides a lot of people but I liked the world building)
