Xbox owners can rejoice now that they've announced mouse & keyboard support through the overpriced and garbage Razor products. However, I think it's still up to the game devs to add the option. As of now I think only a few games enable it.
Between this and cross-play on windows devices, I am very close to being reminded why I gave up on PC gaming again.
