It's more to the side of Subnautica and Astroneer, where you build for the purpose of extending your exploration of the hand built world rather than just to make a bigger factory and piss off a bigger number of aliens like you do in Factorio. Other than that yes, this is Factorio presented in 1/1000th scale.
The alpha also ran well for me, it was a nice surprise with all these console ports coming out that run at 5 fps.
