RE: Now I've beaten Quake
I've always felt that the first episode of Quake was the nicest one, maybe it's just nostalgia. My first ever fps was Doom2, so I find those levels much nicer that Doom 1 for the same reason.
I always love finding well designed levels with a good feel for architecture.
