I appreciate that Diablo 3 can be good, but it just continually failed the grab me, I only ever made it to Act 3, which was relatively recent. In fact, I'd played it earlier this year shortly after beating the first game on the PSP
It's just so fast past and seemingly no matter what I do, I cannot die. Looking at your character, the numbers are so high on your gear, as to seemingly be totally arbitrary and meaningless. Which is a problem I have with a few Blizz games these days; they feel so watered down and like they have all the edges ground off, so the barest hint of challenge doesn't scare off anyone.
I'm sure it improves in the later difficulties, but I don't want to have to play through several cakewalk playthroughs just to get to the harder difficulties.
