A Blood related surprise no less! As I was going through the final stage my mind was going "No way, it couldn't be", then the credits rolled and yep, there it was.
Great game for sure, transcending the moniker of just being a retro shooter and more than pulling its weight by its own merits. Standouts for me are the tight controls, inventive level design on the latter half and great soundtrack.
