Crossing my fingers
Tomorrow, the wife, son and I are leaving to go to Estes Park; it'll be about 100 miles from where we're at and I'm taking my '98 Grand Cherokee out on its first road trip/off road trip. I've owned it for two or so years now and have been steadily taking care of various problems with it. The most major oil leak is taken care of, the suspension is about 70% done, the steering rack is 90% new, wheel bearings and seals on the rear are new and it fires up no problem every time.
That said, it still just turned over 242k miles and I'm a little anxious about taking it on such a long journey. I bought a AAA membership and am bringing my tools with me, but I'm really hoping I don't regret not taking my Honda.
