Blood is definitely a difficult game.
Playing on Well Broiled, I only just beat the temple. Seems like a lot is memorizing enemy placement and then attempting to clear some out with dynamite before you go in and try to wipe out the rest of them. Ammo management is pretty damned important, so I'm finding myself often switching to the pitchfork for Zombies and Gargoyles.
