Subject: RE: what exactly is google doing again?

Apple and Google are both frustrating for that reason; working with both in a professional environment, they randomly drop support for things and change them on a whim.

It was frustrating as hell that one day a USB -> Ethernet adapter works great one day and then they roll out an update and suddenly, no longer supported and can't use them anymore. Now you gotta switch to Thunderbolt. Every time I turned around, something that made our environment a little more usable was broken/unsupported with a new update. Fuck off, Apple.

Google randomly changes things and drops support; the two most frustrating things in recent memory: changing everything on their Admin console for their Domains, so now it takes several clicks to find what you want, when previously it was one. Then of course, dropping support for Goo.gl.

Then of course, there's Microsoft, who decided that Remote Desktop was something that should only be included in Win 10 Pro and not Home, but at least that can be hacked in. Still annoying when I try to login to my server at home and discover that there's been a new security update that breaks the functionality again.
