let me further explain ES blades for you, so that your grasp can remain firm.
there are no real quests or exploration
...the chests accommodate this
you really dont need to pay to open them
perhaps there was a time very early in the game where the EXP rate did not precisely scale with income. perhaps there are some people who do not understand the nature of this game and think it will go faster if they pay.
while technically it will, you must really miss the entire point
the game is meant to be played in short bursts, over the course of a very long time. perhaps months or even years.
this is quite apparent, despite anyones efforts to... 'circumvent' this
