Sucks. I hate it.
Putting the Jeep back together after doing the water pump and a bunch of associated parts and this one little o-ring for the coolant return tube got damaged trying to put it back in. Apparently, this thing is fucking gold, because I can't find it anywhere at the parts store and the only way to get a new one (that doesn't come with a new water pump) is to replace the entire tube, which is $70 for a 16" piece of metal tubing.
So, no choice but to wait until Saturday when the store has the tube in and hopefully that'll solve my problem. Otherwise, I'm going to have to improvise something, which will hopefully work.
One little o-ring has stopped the entire project in its tracks.
