SHIELDS
ok let me start by saying that i have always blown ass in titan quest
i never got around passing the midway boss in IT
the game has always been a slog of slow exp and slow DPS
or marginal DPS and weak characters
even the pre nerf summoner blows ass after act 2 or 3
NOBODY TELLS YOU THAT DEFENSE IS THE BEST BUILD IN THE GAME
not all the advice on the internet, not anywhere.
tremendously OP
the default shield proc skills are a combination of shield and melee attack simultaneously, as if you're dual wielding, and there are other bonuses on how the damage is calculated and how stats are shared between shield and weapon
there is one one small caveat
if your attack speeds gets too high, the shield skills take a while to proc
its like the game doesn't have time to calculate the shield skills or something
