titan quest is really not viable with any other build
its kind of strange
the other builds are there just to provide an incorrect option
there is no way you can take any of the dream or rogue, or any other builds all the way through legendary
phys damage is major, its over 60% of the difficulty pie
the rest of the 6 or so damage types are about evenly distributed, though with piercing being more deadly out of the share
no other build can soak phys dmg without spamming a timed skill, and a weak one at that
there is absolutely no way to run titan quest without tanking phys in the later game. it's impossible. i am absolutely sure of this, just by experiencing epic. there really is no build diversity.
but the build which does work, is pure joy. its overpowered, but the game is beyond vast. especially with the 2 new expansions, and a 3rd major user created one on the way. so even with large enemies dying in 2 or so hits, from a weapon you found 20 levels ago in normal, it doesn't deter you from pressing on and reaching legendary,
which by the way, i have yet to reach
seriously.
im well over 60 hours in, clearing things uber-dooper fast, but exploring every inch of map and quest, so im still in the early stage of the final act in epic
i dont care who you are, or how pointless this thread is
titan quest, played with the only build allowed, is a master work
which should concern everyone
nobody is too old to play video games. you might as well just sit in box and stare at a wall or do some strange torture magic shit on people for alien thrills
