My front yard is fine at this point, it basically looks like anywhere in the foothills/mountains here in Co, typical grass is not native to Colorado, so to waste time, money and water on it in a desert climate is just idiotic. Grass is fine for keeping weeds down, but that's about it.
And ain't nothing bringing down property values in Colorado except a market crash. Leaving my yard as is and doing a cheap remodel on the kitchen has already netted me $30k in equity in the year we've owned this place, so folks that care about the yard can fuck right off.
