I can't swear to it, but I think KPC was my first game with intrusive cutscenes, i.e., where you suddenly can't move because the game takes over and puts you in a cutscene. This is especially bad if you want to stand at a distance from a boss but the cutscene keeps moving you right in front of him. Blood 2 did a tiny bit of this, but it wasn't bad.
