you must trust me on this
lets recap:
1.) single player essentially ends after the 2nd difficulty, frustratingly blocking you from end game content, unless you are a hammerdin, and spamming hammers sucks dick
2.) end game content is locked behind online multiplayer. with 0.00001% (almost literally) chance of obtaining items needed for end game. only recently were some items patched to drop more frequently. but in the hayday of d2, it was literally impossible to get anything. you actually had to pay real money for these items, there was no other choice. its very funny how people seem to ignore this, or pretend this never happened. and by funny, i actually mean quite stupid. "gamers" are full of shit, to be fooled this way into sucking blizzards dick from the very beginning. anyone with a fondness for diablo in this day and age is a fucking retard. though playing this game as a teenager is excusable since you were an idiot back then.
