Risen 1 was good fun, 2 was pretty boring. I picked-up 3 years ago, but still haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Elex I still want to pick-up.
The jankiness and rough edges are what make PB games really fucking charming; compare that to any recent release by a company like Activision-Blizzard and all the rough edges are filed off, everything sanitized, because God forbid we inconvenience or challenge a player. How would we sell them loot boxes if they get mildly annoyed?
