I have some experience painting guitar bodies and orange peel is typically product incompatibility (primer, paint or clear coat), application temp (too cool) or insufficient drying time between coats or products. I've also had bad product (sticking with one brand/line yet inexplicable orange peel). In my experience, wading forward with it and hoping it fills in or sands out seldom works out.
