out of all people you are probably the last i would suspect to fall for the amd trap
im sure the hardware is decent, to a certain extent
...but its still amd
might be useful for scoring on the stupid cheap from ebay once this current gen is phased out by whatever amd is doing next.
but even with this, its going to be hard to rationalize with ddr5 around the corner, which is likely to come with amd first.
so an amd ddr5 system would be the one to score on the cheap from ebay once that ddr5 system is phased out by another amd one, which is already like 2 or 3 generations into the future we are talking here
but yeah ddr5 man
riding out this 4790k until something with ddr5 comes through, hopefully can hold out long enough for intel
