im willing to give d3 a try because i enjoy chaosbane
i know the game is flawed, but to me the positives outweigh the negatives.
first and foremost, the content is lacking. the enemies are terribly repetitive and so are the levels. plus there are only 3 different areas in the entire game, with an additional fourth recently included in an expansion.
this is a very large hurdle to overcome with enjoying this game, i know. but i do find myself enjoying it rather well.
what chosbane has are superb mechanics, they are not complex but they are very enjoyable. the progression formula and the rate you acquire gear and how it ties into your character are very very good. and much of the level design, however lacking in variety, is actually very impressive with top quality design and graphics.
the largest hurdle with the game is the initial 10 hours where it seems most repetitive. but the endgame is very solid.
i imagine this game being a primitive version of diablo 3, which is why im willing to give d3 a try now
if you have not played chaosbane, and are willing to show patience with it, i recommend giving it a try
its pretty darn good in my opinion
pc gamers and reviewers are such fucking snobs, with zero tolerance of anything which isnt perfect, its not even funny
