40K will drain your bank account faster than a Nigerian prince scam, it's ridiculous. The obvious advice would be to stick to Ebay and Amazon and not even bother buying directly from Games Workshop but even then, a basic 500 point baby army will usually set you back at least 200~300 bucks depending on discounts.
