That'd be nice, but there's something to be said for getting together with friends to play; not to mention, the main friend that's into it lives in bum fuck Egypt and literally doesn't have internet.

I am pretty amazed at the bald faced greed of Games Workshop, especially by comparison with what I'm used to in Wizards of the Coast. I've spent I don't know how much money on Magic: The Gathering and a comparatively small amount of D&D stuff over the years, but it really feels middling by comparison to what GW charges for Codexs and models, not to mention new rules every couple of years it seems.
At any rate, I'm not intending to spend any money on the stuff at the immediate moment. My intent right now is to build my Ork Mek Gun my friend bought me, paint it and see how interested I really am in the game and painting the mini's before I start spending.
