Meanwhile, I continue to collect Daedric items -- greaves, a shield, and a katana at Dren's Plantation; three wakizashis from Dark Brotherhood assassins; two daggers (don't recall where they were found). Have also acquired other nice things.
In one master stroke, I worked things out so that I became master of the Fighters and Thieves Guilds simultaneously, A guy at the Fighters Guild gave me an almost complete set of glass armor. This is ironic because I've been working all this time to steal it. Joke's on me.
