Subject: I am the blob

Morrowind encourages players to mutate into grotesque and unstoppable atomic monsters.

Examples:

I have explained the Vivec Ordinator / Creeper money machine exploit, and you can be sure I have it cranked up to eleventy. This not only provides an inexhaustible supply of money for its own sake. It also lets you finance very high-level training, which levels you through the roof very quickly.

Perhaps I omitted what we'll call the Enchantment Train Wreck. I'm not talking about the silly alchemy exploit. This is purely financial and you must have lots of money to do it (see above).

First, you need to find grand soul gems. These show up in places like robber caves and Telvanni towers. If you're short on them, you can go to Azura's shrine on the coast due east of Molag Mar. Do her quest and get Azura's Star, a refillable soul gem.

Then buy a Summon Golden Saint spell from someone in the Mages Guild or the Telvani faction. You should also buy whatever spell you think would work well with constant effect, such as Levitation, Water Breathing, Sanctuary, etc.

Then buy some exquisite-level jewelry from a fine clothier.

Then go to an enchanter and have him/her create a Summon Golden Saint ring or whatever (actually, you don't need a Golden Saint soul or exquisite jewelry for this, as your summoning obviously won't be constant-effect, but you should get at least extravagant-level and a large soul).

You should have a workable soul-trap spell, scroll, or item ready. Hey, why don't you buy a Soul Trap spell and have your enchanter make a Soul Trap item? Or fight Umbra and get his sword. Or try to cast Soul Trap spells yourself, only to watch them fail 75% of the time. Enchanted items never fail.

Summon forth your Golden Saint, cast soul trap, kill the Saint, trap its soul.

Now you can go back to the enchanter and get a ring of Constant Effect Magicka Resist or whatever.

You can also get ridiculous non-constant-effect, casting items. With a large enough soul, you can make an excellent Restore Health ring (or pants or whatever). You can also make a ring that restores X-points of all eight attributes simultaneously (for when a mage casts Damage Strength or Intelligence). Now you can sell all those silly potions you were carrying around.

The idea that this game lets you do this is absolutely hilarious and brilliant at the same time. I'm just disappointed that I can't come up with truly imaginative ideas.
