Speaking of Revell, my next project (on order from Megahobby) will be a
1976 Chevy Sport Stepside pickup
. I like the cut of this model's jib. I don't know anything about the real truck. It might have been awful.
It took building two other pickups to learn that you have to put the bed on the chassis before placing the cab. They don't tell you this in the instructions. User documentation in these old kits wasn't much count. You could probably throw it away with no ill effects. You'll end up with leftover parts, but you can throw those away too. If something doesn't look right, put some cardboard over it and paint it black.
