the game is still fairly challenging even at my high level, with something like 1600hp and decked out combat armor. with room for powerarmor in appropriate situations
removing the pause effect on pipboy would really cement all that
but there are other things i didnt mention with regards to things which need to be changed and are not because the community is stupid.
ontop of crafting costs, VATS is really the big one
VATS, also known as the enemy slayer 9000, is far to easy to use. i proposed a special ammunition type consumable for using vats. but nobody listened.
something which can be crafted, and requires resources. like 1x circuitry, 1x acid, 1x aluminum, 1x steel, which creates a vats chip ammo.
and the ammo is only consumed after taking your first shot in vats, and is not consumed simply by activating vats without taking any shots
