Bear with me. I know you probably already know this, and it may not make any difference with the mods you have. Nonetheless, if you go to Bunker Hill and talk to the head lady and merchants, you'll get a quest to go do some trivial things, with the net result that you unlock the Caravan Trading Post. This is a little campsite for wandering traders like Carla, Lucas, and Cricket. If you set up the post in a settlement, they will stop in on a regular basis. If you're just interested in Cricket, hang around Warwick Homestead and she'll eventually show up.
