I hated stalker until about an hour in and suddenly realized I loved it. I had seen the Tarkovsky movie and read the Roadside Picnic and was already pretty familiar with the Chernobyl disater so I thought the fusion/mashup worked really well as a game.

Stalker 2 is probably going to be kind of like Metro Exodus. Not totally encouraged by seeing the Sidorovich campsite though: if its like HL2 where evey fucking character is reintroduced in the first 5 mins it will blow.
