The GPU market has been stagnate for a while. I bought a 980 TI for $300 in 2016. That same card is selling for $200 now; the one selling for $300 is a normal 1080. You can easily find these prices by searching ebay, then selecting the "completed" auctions to see what they are selling for. The
passmark charts
show a good ballpark how all the cards compare. That's a 10% increase/per value in 4 years.
