good films from the 60s and 70s are a treasure, regardless of genera
"the great race" starring jack lemon as professor fate has to be one of the all time best characters ever,
it actually is,
there is nothing even close to his performance.
i wached that move over 50 times on VHS as a child, and do still feel today that the movie was really meant for children,
but is definitely watchable as an adult
they also made an entire movie some decade afterwards just to award him the top academy award for his previous work
and that movie wasnt bad either,
wasnt great like "the great race", but definitely watchable
