Consoles can easily handle the kinds of gameplay conventions that made PCs the master race's platform of choice, but they won't stop making pure console games and porting them to Windows. The problem hasn't been the hardware for a long time. It's the developers and the mouthbreathing audience. Probably inbreeding too.
