the professionals, 1966
western
staring the mr. burt lancaster
not a budget film or a foreign one
its watchable, not an outstanding flick, but definitely not anywhere near garbage. totally worth watching.
the beginning gave some odd impressions through some of the dialogue and how the movie was generally set up. but for some odd reason the movie ditches what seemed to be nonsense quite early on. it seems to shift from a cheap film for dumb old time simpletons, to something totally normal.
its an average film, but worth checking out since its something nobody here has likely seen. like something inexperienced in a world of experiences.
plus, you know, burt lancester... who himself is sort of like a rare pokemon.
solid guy too. like totally no bullshit with him, very admirable. i cant think of the proper words to describe him, but just picture someone who is more normal than any other actor you have ever seen, but not somehow overtly normal. i really dont know how to describe him. but it seems like his life is moving forward faster than most others, so his experience here on earth is like focused into a faster pace which puts him ahead in this sort of "zone" which is very interesting to experience on camera. great guy. totally no bullshit at all. very rare. hes definitely not like the others, but certainly not out of place.
unique in a sense, but not standing out
