Subject: RE: WAU! What a terrorific audience

I'm not so sure that I'd like M&B. I don't want to fall off horses.

Enter the Gungeon looks pretty good, and reminds me of a similar game from several years back that a lot of people were raving about, but it definitely looks like it needs a gamepad to not be awful.

So I got Project Warlock. I think it was Jaime that mentioned it some months back. At the time I was turned off by some stylistic choices which were noticeable in the videos, but turn out to be less so while actually playing. However, I do have a different gripe with some of the styling, mainly the use of sprites for everything that isn't a wall. Then, for some reason, some (or all?) of the weapons take a second before they can be used after switching to them. WTF is up with that? I have to assume that's a bug and not a feature, because there's no reason it should be like that in this kind of shooter. Lastly, this guy sucks at throwing dynamite, and even more so if you choose to "upgrade" it to prox detonation. Makes me appreciate just how well Blood had its weapons sorted out. Other than that, it is pretty fun. It's almost as if Wolf3D and Doom had a baby that grew up to be a hot woman with a peg leg and a constant stream of snot running out her nose.

Maybe my next game after this will be Fresh Supply. Yay or nay?
