weather update
remember how cold i was saying it was?
before the fires, we got hit with 121F heat
all time record breakers for everything..
does anyone know what 121F even feels like?
few places on earth typically achieve these temperatures regularly during the summer.
one of these places is here in death valley, and the other is in the fucking sahara desert
so check this out,
our state started burning the fuck up, some of these fires on the incident web map are the size of a fucking state. never seen them this large before,
but the kicker is, all the smoke is blocking out the fucking sun making the nights FREEZING COLD again
its actually quite pleasant. our little valley is one of the very very few places in the state which have all the conditions which keep the smoke from actually going into our lungs. its a combination of surrounding terrain, marine layer, and offshore breeze
...yes its fucking great
