variable speed control in the 20s...
yeah... safety features..... yeah...
im sure the early manually-operated elevators were dangerous in this sense.
this guy could just jam the lever down hard and say fuck-all and end everyone's life. can you imagine that? its pretty damn funny actually. like that horror elevator at disneyland. how silly everything is.
