...so you just came from a long night of partying with your honey,
its 1940 now,
your high-end luxury new york apartment still has the very classy gen 1 manual elevators, because its a nice place and they adopted the technology early... because its a nice place.
its also the brief period where zoot suites are trending with some of the normal people in certain circles...
you step into the elevator wearing your green and orange plaid and striped suit with a matching sombrero of some sort. its 2am, there is an elevator guy for that.. at 2am... hes pretty much there only for you as nobody else has much of a night life in your building.
he takes you up all the way to 38th floor
but the doors never open
