Well, I think the subscription problem will be fixed by today's early-access model, which is one of the best ideas ever. You won't feel quite so bad about paying by the month when all you see are early-access works in progress. It's a match made in heaven.
In other news, which I admit I have not researched very thoroughly, it seems that Bethesda will once again "overhaul" the Creation engine for ES6. This is wonderful news, as the engine has only gotten better and better over the years. I imagine it will be utterly fabulous in 2024 or whenever.
It seems to me that the car industry could learn something here. Why spend a lot of money going to Le Mans with specially built race cars when you could simply overhaul an Escort year after year?
